The brief:
For this project we needed to create an aesthetically-pleasing front-end website to show products, while the back-end needed to be
integrated with the company's Mertex stock control and account management software system. The client also needed a solution for handling the increased orders that the site would generate.
The solution:
We designed a site that allows trade customers to log into their personal account area via secure access so they can view live stock positions, prices, invoice status, account order history with tracking references and much more. An integrated online ordering system that handles multiple and concurrent sales was also incorporated so that head office staff did not need to be increased - a real benefit to small-medium sized businesses wanting to contain overhead costs.
